A beer that has been years in the making. Brian and I first discussed brewing a collaboration beersin 2012 at the Shelton Brothers’ "The Festival", in Worcester, Mass. Two years, and countless e-mails (or at least 67) later, Brian came out to Dexter and we brewed the 10 bbl pilot batch that would be blended into the final version. After a few months of oak aging we could tell we were on the right track, and brewed another 100 bbls to complement the 10 bbl pilot. Roughly nine months after that we blended the two batches and waited for the conditioning to complete it’s magic. So I guess if you don’t enjoy it . . . blame the Shelton Brothers.
